Description

The Brisa is a 40cm teardrop-shaped glass pendant with a champagne-toned finish and two E27 bulb fittings suspended inside the glass body on individual flex drops. The champagne glass acts as both shade and diffuser, softening the light from the two bulbs while maintaining visibility of the filament or LED source within. The teardrop profile measures 52cm in total height including the internal bulb arrangement.

Designed for dining tables, breakfast bars and kitchen islands, the Brisa works in spaces where a single pendant needs to provide adequate spread without being oversized. The two internal bulbs give more light output than a single-source pendant while the champagne tone warms the colour temperature of the light passing through. The pendant hangs on a single black flex from a brushed brass ceiling rose, with the flex run concealed inside the glass neck.

The champagne finish is a translucent warm grey-beige tone that sits between clear glass and smoked glass in opacity. It diffuses light more than clear glass but allows more transmission than solid amber or bronze finishes. The 40cm diameter and 3.75kg weight give the pendant a substantial presence without overwhelming spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m. The teardrop shape directs most light downward while allowing some upward spill to soften ceiling shadows.

No. The pendant takes two E27 bulbs up to 40W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm white LED filament bulbs at 6-8W to create a warm ambient glow through the champagne glass.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 52cm pendant height works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upward. Above a dining table the pendant typically hangs 70-80cm above the table surface, which suits standard 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights. Higher ceilings allow the flex to be extended if needed.

How is the champagne tone different from clear or smoked glass?

Champagne glass is translucent with a warm grey-beige tint. It diffuses light more than clear glass, reducing glare from visible bulbs, but transmits more light than smoked or bronze finishes. The effect is a softened warm glow rather than sharp shadows or heavy colour saturation.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The pendant hangs on a single flex, so it will hang vertically regardless of ceiling angle. On sloped ceilings the flex simply adjusts to gravity, keeping the teardrop pendant level.
