The glass shade is hand-blown into an asymmetric bulb form that narrows at the top and widens to a 30cm diameter at its broadest point, with a single E27 lampholder visible inside the transparent glass.

Designed for bedside lighting, kitchen island groupings of two or three, and small hallway or landing positions where ceiling height allows a 40cm drop plus suspension length. The champagne tint filters warm light without blocking it entirely, so the bulb remains visible as a focal point when lit. The glass itself takes on a honey-gold tone under daylight and deepens to amber when backlit by a warm-white bulb. The narrow top opening and lack of frosting mean this pendant works best with decorative filament bulbs or LED equivalents where the bulb itself adds to the aesthetic.

The hand-blown glass shows slight variation in wall thickness and tint saturation between individual pieces, giving each pendant minor differences in how light refracts through the material. The 2.1kg weight requires secure ceiling fixing — the brass canopy conceals a standard UK ceiling rose and the fabric cable can be shortened on installation to adjust the overall drop. Does the Brisa come with a bulb?

No. The pendant takes a standard E27 bulb up to 40W, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W LED filament bulb in warm white (2700K) to complement the champagne glass tone.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Brisa carries no IP rating and is designed for dry indoor use only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones where moisture or direct water contact may occur.

How is the drop length adjusted?

The fabric cable can be shortened during installation by feeding excess cable back into the ceiling rose. Once fitted, the drop is fixed unless the pendant is taken down and re-wired.

What ceiling height is needed?

The glass shade itself is 40cm tall. Add the suspension cable length (typically 100-150cm as supplied) to determine total drop. For a bedside position or kitchen island the pendant typically hangs 60-80cm above the surface, which works in rooms with 2.4m or higher ceilings.
