Description

The Auren is a 290mm diameter crystal pendant light with a circular drum frame holding faceted crystal prisms in a continuous band around four integrated 6W LED light sources, suspended on polished chrome wires from a matching chrome ceiling canopy. The combined 24W output provides ambient light for spaces up to 10-12m², with the crystal facets acting as both decorative element and light diffuser.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, hallways and bedroom settings where ceiling heights allow a 1380mm total drop, the Auren works as a single centrepiece over a small dining table or breakfast bar, or in multiples over a kitchen island. The 290mm footprint suits rooms where a larger crystal pendant would overpower the proportions. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light during daytime and pairs with both contemporary and transitional interiors.

Each crystal prism is precision-cut with multiple facets that refract light into rainbow spectra when the LEDs are on, giving the pendant a jewel-like quality. The chrome suspension wires are adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to hang higher or lower depending on ceiling height and the position of furniture beneath. At 3.4kg the pendant requires a standard UK ceiling rose rated for at least 5kg to ensure safe suspension.

Is the Auren dimmable?

The integrated LED is rated at 4 x 6W for a combined 24W output. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer switch model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility.

What ceiling height is needed?

The total drop from ceiling to pendant base is 1380mm. For a dining table or breakfast bar the pendant typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The suspension wires are adjustable during installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the LEDs to cool. Wipe each crystal prism gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame and do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners.

Can multiple Auren pendants be grouped?

Yes. The 290mm diameter allows two or three Auren pendants to be spaced 400-500mm apart over a kitchen island or long dining table without visual crowding. Each pendant needs its own ceiling connection point.
