Description

The Armonia is a curved ribbon-style LED wall light with a polished chrome frame that loops around a frosted acrylic diffuser, creating a flowing S-curve silhouette. The integrated 12W LED sits behind the diffuser and emits 900 lumens at 3000K warm white, distributed through a 120° beam angle that casts soft, even light both up and down the wall.

Designed by José Ignacio Ballester for Mantra, the Armonia suits hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and feature walls where a decorative fitting with ambient output is needed. At 550mm tall and projecting 220mm from the wall, the fitting works on walls with 2.4m+ ceiling heights and needs a fixing point clear of door swings and circulation routes. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with contemporary, minimalist and modern classical interiors.

The acrylic diffuser wraps 360° around the LED strip, meaning the fitting casts light in all directions rather than focusing it into a single beam. This makes it effective as corridor lighting where light needs to travel along a passage, or as bedside reading light where the soft ambient glow reduces glare compared to a spotlight. The ribbon frame gives the fitting a sculptural presence when unlit, functioning as wall art as well as a light source.

The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for 3 years under Mantra's warranty. The 12W consumption is equivalent to a 60-70W halogen in perceived brightness but generates significantly less heat, making it safe for plasterboard walls and timber-framed partitions without additional insulation.

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at full 900 lumens output when switched on. If dimming is required, consider installing the fitting on a switched circuit with separate mood lighting.

What type of wall fixing is needed?

The fitting weighs 0.68kg and requires a standard wall bracket fixed to a solid surface or into studs/noggins on plasterboard walls. The backplate mounts to the bracket and the polished chrome frame clips over it to conceal the fixings.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

The specification does not list an IP rating, which means the fitting is not certified for bathroom zones where moisture protection is required. It is suitable for dry indoor rooms only.

Does the light output suit reading?
