Andromeda 14 Light LED Glass Bar Pendant Light 3000K - Multicoloured

The Andromeda is a 14-light LED bar pendant with a 1025mm light gold frame suspending fourteen handblown glass shades in copper, chrome, amber, clear and frosted finishes. Each shade houses a frosted inner cone around the integrated LED, creating a layered light source where the outer glass filters warm 3000K light through copper, amber and clear tones while the chrome and frosted shades offer cooler reflections. The total 70W LED output delivers 7050 lumens across the composition.

Designed for dining tables longer than 2m, kitchen islands and open-plan living zones with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Andromeda works where multiple pendant points would normally be needed. The staggered drop positions — ranging from 240mm minimum to 3000mm maximum — are set at the factory to create a cascading rhythm across the bar frame. The fourteen individual cable runs conceal within black braided flex, with the cables emerging from individual fixing points on the rectangular ceiling plate.

The mixed glass finish creates tonal variation under different lighting conditions. In daylight the copper and amber shades read as warm metallic accents, while the chrome shades reflect ambient light as mirrored surfaces. When lit, the copper tones glow with an orange-bronze warmth, the amber becomes honey-coloured, and the chrome shades reveal the frosted inner cones as soft diffused orbs. The light gold frame bridges the warm and cool tones across the entire composition. At 6.4kg the fitting requires secure ceiling mounting into joist or rated fixing points.

The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for 3000K warm white output. The 7050 lumens provide sufficient task and ambient light for a 12-15m² zone directly beneath the fitting, with the multiple light sources reducing harsh shadows compared to a single central pendant.

Is the Andromeda dimmable?

No. The integrated 70W LED is rated for fixed 3000K warm white output at 7050 lumens and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 240mm means the lowest pendant sits 240mm below the ceiling plate. For installation above a dining table or kitchen island, a ceiling height of 2.7m or above is recommended to maintain clearance of 700-800mm above the surface.

Can the drop lengths be adjusted?

The fourteen individual drop lengths are factory-set to create the staggered cascade effect. Adjusting individual cables on-site would require cutting and re-terminating the cable runs, which is not recommended and may void the warranty.

How is the glass cleaned?

The handblown glass shades can be wiped with a soft microfibre cloth. For the chrome and copper finishes, avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the metallic coating. Clear and amber glass can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner if needed.
