Description

The Alfaisis is a 1m LED landscape ground light housing an integrated 18W LED array behind a grey powder-coated aluminium bar, mounted on two ground-fixing brackets. The 18W LED delivers 4000K neutral white light across a linear wash, designed to graze building facades, illuminate low perimeter walls, or provide pathway edge definition in commercial and residential outdoor installations.

The IP65-rated housing protects the LED and internal components against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, making the fitting suitable for ground-level installation in UK outdoor conditions year-round. The two mounting brackets allow the bar to be angled 0-45 degrees from ground level, directing the light wash up a wall, across a pathway edge, or along a low planting bed depending on the installation angle.

The 1000mm length and 95mm projection give the fitting a low profile once installed, sitting flush with paving or set back into gravel beds without creating a trip hazard. The grey powder coat finish on the aluminium housing weathers to a consistent matt tone and pairs with contemporary architecture, grey paving, and modern garden design. The 18W LED runs on mains 230V through a weatherproof cable gland at one end of the bar.

The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white light that renders building materials and planting accurately without the warm yellow cast of 3000K or the cool blue edge of 6000K. This makes the Alfaisis suitable for architectural facade lighting where accurate colour rendering matters, as well as functional pathway and security lighting where visibility is the priority.

What does the IP65 rating cover?

IP65 means the fitting is fully dust-tight (the '6') and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction (the '5'). The Alfaisis can be installed at ground level exposed to rain, hose washdown, and pooling water without damage to the LED or internal wiring.

Can the angle be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The two mounting brackets allow the bar to tilt 0-45 degrees from ground level. The angle is set during installation by adjusting the bracket position and can be changed later if the light wash needs redirecting.

Is it suitable for pathway edge lighting?

Yes. The 1m length and low 95mm profile make the Alfaisis suitable for installation along pathway edges, set into paving or gravel beds. The 4000K neutral white light provides good visibility for safe walking without the glare of higher-wattage spotlights.

Does it require a qualified electrician to install?

Yes. The fitting runs on 230V mains and must be wired into an outdoor circuit by a qualified electrician. The cable entry gland at one end of the bar needs correct sealing to maintain the IP65 rating.
