Description
This E-Luminate 3W LED candle bulb uses an E27 Edison screw base and delivers 250 lumens at 6500K daylight white. The candle form factor measures 98mm tall by 35mm diameter, fitting table lamps, wall sconces and chandeliers that take standard E27 bulbs. The 6500K colour temperature produces a cool, bright white light similar to midday natural light.
Designed for task lighting in kitchens, home offices, workshops and utility areas where visibility and colour accuracy matter, the 6500K output helps reduce eye strain during close work. The 250-lumen output sits between ambient and task brightness, providing enough light for reading, sewing, or detailed bench work without overwhelming smaller rooms. The bulb is non-dimmable and runs on standard 230V mains.
The 3W power draw replaces incandescent candle bulbs rated at 20-25W, cutting energy use by around 90% while maintaining comparable brightness. Each bulb carries a G energy rating under current EU labelling and is rated for up to 15,000 hours of use, equivalent to approximately 13 years at 3 hours per day. Sold as a 2-pack for multi-bulb fittings or replacing pairs in matching table lamps.

Frequently Asked
What's the difference between 6500K and warm white bulbs?
6500K produces a cool, bright white light similar to daylight, which increases visibility and colour accuracy. Warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K) produce a softer, yellower light that suits living rooms and bedrooms. For task lighting in kitchens, offices and workshops, 6500K is usually the better choice.
Can this bulb be used in a dimmer circuit?
No. The bulb is non-dimmable and will not function correctly on a dimmer switch. If fitted to a dimmer circuit the bulb may flicker, buzz, or fail prematurely. Use only on standard switched circuits.
How bright is 250 lumens?
250 lumens is roughly equivalent to a traditional 20-25W incandescent bulb. It provides enough light for reading and close work but is not as bright as a 40W-equivalent LED (around 470 lumens). Suitable for table lamps, bedside lights and accent fittings rather than primary room lighting.
What fixtures does the E27 base fit?
E27 is the standard Edison screw base used in most UK table lamps, floor lamps, pendant lights and chandeliers. Also called ES (Edison Screw), it's the larger of the two common screw bases, with E14 (small Edison screw) being the smaller version used in candelabra fittings.
