Description
This Knightsbridge 3-light spotlight fitting mounts a circular chrome plate to ceiling or wall, with three independently adjustable spotlight heads each taking a GU10 bulb (sold separately). Each head tilts through 90° and rotates through 300°, allowing directional control for task lighting, accent lighting or general room illumination depending on how the heads are positioned.
Designed for kitchens, home offices, workshops and commercial spaces where adjustable lighting is needed, the fitting can be ceiling-mounted to provide downlight across a worktop or wall-mounted to act as uplighting or wall-wash. The three-head configuration suits rooms where a single central ceiling light would leave corners under-lit, or where multiple zones need different light angles. The compact circular backplate measures 32mm in projection from the mounting surface, making it suitable for low ceilings where a pendant would hang too far into the room.
The polished chrome finish provides a reflective metallic surface that pairs with contemporary, industrial and bathroom interiors. The steel construction gives the fitting rigidity under repeated adjustment — each head can be repositioned without loosening or sagging over time. The IP20 rating limits installation to dry indoor areas only, and the fitting requires earthing (Class I). Maximum loading is 3x50W, though pairing with LED GU10 bulbs at 5-7W per head is typical for modern installations.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The fitting takes three GU10 bulbs, sold separately. GU10 is the standard twist-lock spotlight base used in UK mains-voltage fittings. Most users pair this with LED GU10 bulbs at 5-7W and 3000K for warm white light, though halogen GU10s up to 50W per head are also compatible.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs fitted. LED GU10 bulbs labeled as dimmable will dim when paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will flicker or fail if used with a dimmer. Halogen GU10s are inherently dimmable with standard trailing-edge dimmers.
Can it be fitted to a bathroom ceiling?
The IP20 rating means the fitting is not splash-proof and should only be installed in dry indoor areas outside bathroom zones. For bathroom ceilings directly above a bath or shower, an IP44 or IP65 rated fitting is required.
How much adjustment does each head have?
Each head tilts through 90° from straight-down to horizontal, and rotates through 300° around its vertical axis. This allows each head to be aimed independently at different areas of the room or angled to avoid glare when the fitting is wall-mounted.
