Description

The Knightsbridge 3-light bar spotlight combines three independently adjustable G9 fittings on a 550mm matt black bar, each with a frosted glass diffuser. Each spotlight head tilts 90° and rotates 350°, allowing light to be directed onto mirrors, artwork, or across a bathroom or kitchen ceiling. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes, making this suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3.

Designed for both ceiling and wall mounting, the bar works as task lighting over bathroom mirrors, accent lighting in hallways, or as adjustable kitchen worktop lighting where permanent downlights are not practical. The 125mm projection from the ceiling or wall gives clearance to angle the heads without the diffusers fouling the mounting surface. The pressed steel construction provides durability in moisture-prone environments.

The frosted glass diffusers soften the output from each G9 bulb, reducing glare when positioned at eye level and distributing light more evenly across surfaces than bare bulbs. The matt black finish has a low-sheen coating that minimises reflections and pairs cleanly with modern bathrooms, black tapware, and contemporary interiors. Each fitting takes a G9 bulb up to 25W (sold separately), and dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb chosen.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. It should not be installed directly above a bath or shower (zone 1) or within the shower enclosure itself (zone 0).

What bulbs does it take?

Each fitting takes a G9 capsule bulb up to 25W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 3-5W LED G9 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for bathroom and kitchen use.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen. If you fit dimmable G9 LED bulbs, the fitting can be controlled by a compatible LED dimmer switch. Halogen G9 bulbs are inherently dimmable with standard trailing-edge dimmers.

Can the heads be adjusted after installation?

Yes. Each spotlight head tilts 90° and rotates 350° on its mounting point, allowing you to redirect light as needed without removing the fitting from the ceiling or wall.
