Description

This Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate accepts two standard euro module inserts behind a smoked bronze screwless cover plate. The plate is constructed from 201 stainless steel with a PVD smoked bronze finish, measuring 235mm wide by 87.5mm tall with a 4.5mm projection from the wall once fitted.

Designed for bespoke media walls, AV installations, office data points and smart home panels, the faceplate holds any combination of euro modules including HDMI, CAT6 data, USB charging, TV aerial, satellite, telephone and audio connections. The screwless cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to a standard 25mm or 35mm back box, leaving no visible fixings on the wall surface. A built-in gasket around the rear perimeter improves the seal against the wall and reduces dust ingress behind the plate.

The smoked bronze finish is a warm gunmetal tone created by physical vapour deposition onto the stainless steel substrate, giving better abrasion resistance than painted or plated alternatives. The finish pairs with bronze, copper, aged brass and dark wood trim in traditional interiors, and with anthracite, charcoal and black fixtures in contemporary schemes. What modules does this faceplate accept?

The plate accepts any standard euro module inserts in a 2-gang configuration. Common options include HDMI, CAT6 data, USB-A, USB-C, TV aerial, satellite F-type, 3.5mm audio jack and telephone modules. Modules are sold separately and clip into the apertures from the front once the back box and sub-frame are installed.

What back box depth is required?

A standard 25mm back box is sufficient for most module combinations. Deeper modules such as Cat6 data inserts or HDMI pass-throughs with rear cable retention may require a 35mm or 47mm back box depending on the bend radius of the cables being terminated.

Is the screwless plate removable?

Yes. The cover plate clips onto a metal sub-frame that is screw-fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed by hand for redecorating or module changes and re-clipped without tools.
