Description
The Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate is a polished brass screwless plate designed to accept euro module inserts for TV, data, HDMI, USB, RJ45 and telephone sockets. The plate measures 235mm wide by 87.5mm high and provides two standard-size euro module apertures, each sized to fit Knightsbridge's range of modular inserts including coaxial TV outlets, HDMI passthroughs, RJ45 network sockets, USB charging ports and traditional telephone RJ11 sockets.
Designed for media walls, home office installations, hotel rooms and residential AV setups, the faceplate allows a custom combination of connectivity options to be configured behind a single unified cover. The screwless design uses a clip-on cover plate that mounts onto a separate metal sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed. A built-in gasket between the plate and wall surface provides a tight fit that prevents the plate from rattling or shifting after installation.
The polished brass finish is applied to 201 stainless steel, giving the plate corrosion resistance and a warm metallic tone that pairs well with traditional brass door furniture, heritage interior schemes and warm-toned contemporary designs. The 4.5mm plate depth and total 12.3mm projection from the wall give the faceplate a low profile that sits close to the surface without protruding excessively. Knightsbridge backs this faceplate with a 25-year guarantee, reflecting the durability of the stainless steel construction and brass finish.

Frequently Asked
What euro module inserts does this faceplate accept?
The faceplate accepts any standard euro module insert sized to fit Knightsbridge's modular range. Common inserts include coaxial TV outlets, HDMI passthroughs, RJ45 network sockets, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, RJ11 telephone sockets and blank modules. Each gang accommodates one euro module insert.
How is the screwless cover fitted?
The faceplate uses a two-part system: a metal sub-frame fixes to the back box with screws, and the polished brass cover plate clips onto the sub-frame. Once clipped on, no screws are visible on the wall surface. The cover can be removed for redecorating or module changes by unclipping it from the frame.
What back box is needed?
A standard 2-gang 35mm deep back box is required for installation. The back box should match the 235mm width of the faceplate to ensure proper alignment of the mounting screws with the sub-frame.
Can the polished brass tarnish over time?
Polished brass finishes can develop a patina or tarnish when exposed to air and moisture over extended periods. This is a natural characteristic of brass. If a consistent polished appearance is preferred, the faceplate can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth periodically to remove fingerprints and surface oxidation.
