The Knightsbridge FPR9224BC is a 13A 2-gang single-pole switched socket with two integrated USB-A charging ports, finished in brushed chrome with a black insert. The flat plate design sits just 2.5mm proud of the wall once fitted, making it one of the slimmest socket profiles available in the UK market. The metal rocker switches and premium-grade steel construction give the socket a solid tactile response and durability under daily use.

Designed for residential and commercial installation in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and offices, the socket provides two 13A outlets rated for standard UK appliances up to 2,990W per outlet, plus two USB-A ports delivering a combined 5V DC 2.4A output. The USB ports charge phones, tablets and other devices without requiring a separate plug adaptor. Single-pole switching isolates the live line when the socket is switched off, suitable for general-purpose appliance loads.

The brushed chrome finish pairs with contemporary and industrial interiors, whilst the black insert behind the faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and defines each outlet aperture. The flat plate includes a built-in gasket that seals the edge against the wall surface, reducing the visible gap between plate and plaster. The socket requires a 25-35mm back box depth depending on wiring conditions and is certified to BS1363-2:2016, EN 62368-1, EN 62680-1-1, EMC and ErP standards.
