Description

The Knightsbridge SFR9909MW is a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket with one USB-A and one USB-C fast charge port behind a matt white rounded-edge faceplate. The USB ports share 20W total output and support both Quick Charge and USB Power Delivery standards, allowing compatible devices to charge at accelerated rates. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral when switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole designs.

Designed for residential kitchens, bedrooms, offices and hospitality installations where USB charging is needed alongside standard UK 13A outlets, the socket fits a 25-35mm back box depth depending on cable management. The rounded edge profile gives a softer visual compared to square-edge plates and reduces corner snagging. The matt white finish pairs with white or light neutral wall colours and hides minor scuffs better than gloss finishes.

The body is constructed from SPCC steel rather than polycarbonate, giving better heat dissipation and resistance to impact. Twin earthing terminals provide redundancy in high-integrity installations.
