The Knightsbridge FPR9905BCW combines a 13A switched socket, dual USB charging ports and a 3W Bluetooth speaker behind a single brushed chrome ultra-slim faceplate with a white insert. The integrated speaker streams audio from any Bluetooth device via a pairing button on the front panel, while the two USB ports share a 5V DC 2.4A output for charging phones, tablets and other USB-powered devices.

Designed for kitchens, bedrooms, hotel rooms and home offices where background music or audio playback adds functional value without requiring a separate powered speaker, the socket fits a standard 35-47mm back box. The 3W RMS speaker sits behind a perforated grille on the faceplate and delivers speech clarity and light music playback at typical room volumes. The ultra-slim flat plate construction adds only 5.4mm projection from the wall once installed, matching other Knightsbridge ultra-slim range accessories.

The brushed chrome finish provides a cool-toned metallic accent that pairs with contemporary and commercial interiors, while the white insert behind the faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and defines the edges of the socket aperture, USB ports and speaker grille. Press the Bluetooth pairing button on the faceplate. The socket enters pairing mode and appears as a discoverable device on your phone, tablet or laptop. Select it from the Bluetooth menu to connect. The speaker remembers the last paired device and reconnects automatically when both are powered on.

What back box depth is required?

A 35-47mm back box depth is needed. The ultra-slim design means the unit adds only 5.4mm projection from the wall once installed, compared to 10-12mm for standard screwless plates.

What is the speaker output?

The speaker delivers 3W RMS, which suits background music, podcasts and speech playback at typical bedroom or kitchen volumes. It is not designed for high-volume music listening or to fill large open-plan spaces.

Can the USB ports charge two devices simultaneously?

Yes. The two USB ports share a combined 5V DC 2.4A output, which allows simultaneous charging of two phones or one phone and one tablet. Charging speed will be slower when both ports are in use compared to a single device drawing the full 2.4A.
