Description

The Knightsbridge 12-gang grid faceplate accepts twelve euro module inserts behind a brushed chrome screwless cover plate with rounded edges. Measuring 206.35mm high by 146.5mm wide, the faceplate is built from steel with a brushed chrome finish and includes an integrated gasket to seal the plate edge against the wall once fitted.

Designed for AV installations, smart home panels and office fit-outs that require multiple connection types in a single location, the 12-gang format consolidates TV aerial sockets, HDMI inputs, USB charging ports, Ethernet data sockets and telephone points into one wall plate. Each of the twelve apertures accepts a standard euro module insert (sold separately), allowing the installer to configure the exact combination of services needed for the installation.

The screwless design uses a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, onto which the brushed chrome cover plate clips. This hides all fixing screws and gives a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed faceplates. The rounded edge profile softens the plate outline against the wall and pairs comfortably with both modern and transitional interior schemes. The 7.5mm depth keeps the plate projection minimal once fitted.

What back box depth is required?

The faceplate requires a back box depth suitable for the euro module inserts being installed. Most euro modules work with 35mm back boxes, but some AV inserts (particularly HDMI modules with rear cable connections) may need 47mm depth. Check the insert specifications before installation.

Are the euro module inserts included?

No. The faceplate is sold as the cover plate and sub-frame only. Euro module inserts for TV, data, USB, HDMI and other services are sold separately and must be selected to match the required connections.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The brushed chrome cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the faceplate and re-clipped without disconnecting any of the euro module inserts.
