Description
The Utah is a 250mm outdoor wall light with a sand brown powder-coated aluminium frame surrounding a frosted white polycarbonate diffuser. The rectangular box shape mounts flush to the wall with a 110mm projection, and the single E27 bulb inside casts light through the diffuser in two directions — forward through the frosted panel and downward through the open base, giving both ambient glow and functional illumination for paths and entrances.
Rated IP65, the Utah is sealed against water jets and dust ingress, making it suitable for exposed exterior walls, covered patios, porch areas and garden zones where direct rain and moisture are present. The E27 lamp socket accepts standard screw-fit LED, CFL or filament bulbs up to the wattage limit stated in the fitting instructions (bulb sold separately), allowing flexibility in colour temperature and brightness to suit the application.
The sand brown finish is a warm terracotta-toned powder coat that pairs with brick, natural stone, timber cladding and neutral render finishes. The frosted diffuser softens the light output and hides the bulb shape, avoiding the harsh point-source glare common with clear-glass outdoor fittings. At 0.89kg the fitting is light enough to mount on standard masonry fixings without additional reinforcement.

Frequently Asked
What does IP65 mean?
IP65 means the fitting is fully protected against dust ingress and water jets from any direction. The Utah can be mounted on fully exposed exterior walls, under eaves, or on covered patios where rain and moisture are present.
What bulb does it take?
The Utah uses a standard E27 screw-fit bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient outdoor lighting. The fitting accepts bulbs up to the maximum wattage stated in the fitting instructions.
Can it be used in a bathroom or sauna?
No. The Utah is rated for outdoor use and general damp environments, but IP65 does not meet the specific zone requirements for bathroom or sauna installations where steam and condensation are concentrated. Check bathroom zone regulations before installing.
How is the light distributed?
Light is emitted forward through the frosted diffuser and downward through the open base. This gives both ambient glow on the wall and functional downlight on paths, door steps or patio surfaces below the fitting.
