Description

The TorlanECO is a 1250mm IP65-rated LED batten fitting with an integrated 36W LED module delivering 3735lm at 4000K cool white. The polycarbonate body houses the LED driver and lamp within a sealed enclosure rated to IP65, making it suitable for wet environments, dusty utility areas and outdoor canopies where moisture ingress would damage a standard indoor fitting.

Designed for commercial back-of-house spaces, plant rooms, storage areas, garages, workshops and exterior covered locations such as loading bays or car park ceiling zones, the batten mounts directly to ceiling or wall surfaces using the fast-fix bracket system. The hinged gear tray allows quick push-fit wiring through the back of the housing without needing to remove the diffuser, reducing installation time compared to traditional screw-terminal battens. BESA compatibility and 600mm fixing centres align with standard junction box positions.

The opal polycarbonate diffuser spreads the 125° beam angle evenly across the fitting length, avoiding harsh LED spotting and providing uniform illumination along corridors, between racking, or across utility ceiling runs. The housing carries an IK06 impact rating, tolerating moderate knocks from equipment or ladders during maintenance. L70B50 rated to 30,000 hours, the LED maintains at least 70% of initial output after approximately 3.4 years of continuous use.

The TorlanECO supports optional modular accessories including microwave motion sensors and emergency battery packs, both retrofittable after initial installation without rewiring the mains supply. This allows the fitting to be upgraded from basic on/off control to sensor-activated or emergency-compliant operation as building requirements change.
