Description

This Knightsbridge telephone extension outlet provides a BT-type secondary socket for adding telephone extension points from an existing master socket. The brushed chrome faceplate is made from 430 stainless steel with a square edge profile and screw fixing terminals rated to BS 5733 for UK telephone wiring.

Designed for residential and office installations where additional telephone points are needed without running a new line from the exchange, the extension outlet connects to the existing master socket wiring and allows a standard BT-type phone plug to be inserted. The 89mm square plate fits a standard single-gang 25mm minimum back box depth, and the screw terminals accept solid or stranded telephone cable cores.
