Description

The STV 204 is a 4-way satellite F splitter that distributes signal from a single satellite dish input to four independent receiver outputs across a frequency range of 5-2250MHz. Each output port features power pass capability, allowing receivers to send power back to the LNB at the dish head without blocking other receivers on the same splitter.

Designed for multi-room satellite installations where a single dish serves several receivers, the splitter fits between the dish cable run and the individual receiver feeds. The central input port connects to the dish LNB, while the four output ports run to separate set-top boxes or satellite receivers in different rooms. The power pass diagram printed on the faceplate shows the signal path and confirms which ports support LNB power injection.

The die-cast metal housing provides RF shielding to prevent signal leakage and interference between adjacent cables. All five F-connector ports are threaded for secure cable connections, and the two mounting lugs on either side allow the splitter to be fixed to a wall or inside a distribution cabinet. The unit carries CE certification and complies with German broadcast equipment standard BZT 660D.

Frequently Asked

Does this work with Sky Q and Freesat receivers?

Yes. The 5-2250MHz range covers both standard Ku-band satellite signals and the extended frequencies used by modern LNBs. The power pass on all ports supports systems where receivers need to communicate with or power the LNB.

Can all four outputs supply power to the LNB simultaneously?

Each output port supports power pass, but typically only one receiver sends power at a time. The STV 204 routes that power back to the input port and onwards to the LNB regardless of which output port the powered receiver is connected to.

What signal loss occurs when splitting?

A 4-way passive splitter introduces approximately 7-8dB insertion loss per output. If you experience weak signal on some receivers after installation, consider upgrading to a higher-gain LNB or adding a line amplifier before the splitter.

Does it need external power?

No. The STV 204 is a passive splitter and draws no mains power. The power pass feature refers to DC voltage sent by the receiver to the LNB, not to powering the splitter itself.

Free worldwide delivery

Free worldwide delivery on all orders over £99. International orders for third-party brand products may be subject to an additional courier surcharge based on volumetric weight, particularly on larger lighting fixtures — if a surcharge applies, our team will email you with the amount before dispatch and you can proceed or cancel for a full refund.
