Description

The Mane is a 120mm round outdoor wall light with an integrated 3W LED housed inside a black aluminium body and frosted plastic diffuser. The circular profile projects 30mm from the wall, with a horizontal aperture slot cutting across the centre that allows light to wash both upward and downward across the mounting surface. The integrated LED runs at 3000K warm white, producing ambient light rather than focused task illumination.

Designed for pathways, staircases, entrance porches and garden walls, the Mane carries an IP54 rating, protecting the internals against dust and water spray from any direction. This makes it suitable for covered outdoor positions where direct rainfall is unlikely, such as under eaves or on recessed porch walls. The 3W LED output suits close-range wayfinding and accent lighting rather than general area illumination — multiple fittings would typically be spaced 2-3m apart along a pathway or stairwell.

The aluminium body is powder-coated in matt black, giving a non-reflective finish that recedes visually against darker brick, render or timber cladding. The frosted plastic diffuser softens the LED strip behind it, preventing glare when viewed directly and creating an even wash of light above and below the fitting. At 30mm projection the Mane sits close to the wall, reducing the risk of impact damage in narrow passageways or on stair landings where people pass close to the mounting surface.
