The snap connectors eliminate the need for soldering, reducing installation time and making the links accessible to installers working without specialist equipment.

Designed for extending LED tape runs around corners, across gaps, or between non-adjacent surfaces, the flexible 150mm cable length allows routing around obstacles, door frames, and furniture edges without breaking the lighting circuit. The links suit residential mood lighting installations, gaming setups where RGB tape follows desk edges or monitor backs, retail display cases, bar counters, and hospitality feature lighting. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

What LED tape width do these connectors fit?

The snap-fit terminals are designed for standard 10mm wide RGB LED tape. They will not fit single-colour tape, RGBW tape, or narrower/wider strip profiles.

Can these be used outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating means these connectors are not protected against moisture or dust ingress and must only be used in dry indoor locations. For outdoor or bathroom installations, IP65 or IP67 rated connectors are required.

Do the connectors require soldering?

No. The white terminal blocks snap directly onto the copper connection pads on the LED tape. No soldering tools or skills are needed for installation.

Can multiple links be chained together?

Yes, but be aware of voltage drop. Each additional connector and cable run adds resistance to the circuit. For runs longer than 5m of combined tape and cable, consider injecting power at multiple points along the run to maintain consistent brightness and colour.
