Description

The HDview HC864R24TB is a 64-channel network video recorder capable of recording up to 8MP resolution from IP cameras, with 24TB of pre-installed surveillance-grade hard drive storage. The NVR uses H.265 video compression to reduce file sizes by up to 50% compared to H.264 without compromising image quality, extending the effective recording time before the storage fills. Two uplink ports allow connection to separate network switches or segments for large camera arrays.

Designed for commercial, industrial and multi-site residential installations requiring continuous surveillance across dozens of zones, the NVR supports simultaneous playback, live viewing and remote access without interrupting recording. Motion detection recording and intelligent features including line cross detection and perimeter intrusion detection reduce the volume of blank footage stored when no activity occurs. Remote monitoring via the HDview mobile app allows live viewing and playback from iOS and Android devices over local network or internet connection.

The unit outputs live and playback video via HDMI at resolutions up to 4K, allowing connection to a wall-mounted monitor or control room display. Front-panel USB ports allow transfer of recorded footage to USB drives for evidence archival or handover to third parties. The NVR supports cable runs up to 250m per camera channel when using standard Cat5e or Cat6 cabling, suitable for large warehouse, campus or estate installations without requiring intermediate powered switches.

The metal chassis measures 573mm wide x 563mm deep x 202mm high and weighs 8.4kg net (9.4kg with packaging), suitable for standard 19-inch rack mounting or bench installation in a server room or security equipment cabinet.
