Description

The HDview 4MP 4-channel DVR records up to four surveillance cameras at 4-megapixel resolution, storing footage on a pre-installed 2TB surveillance-grade hard drive. The unit supports continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered recording modes, with live view and playback at full 4MP resolution over HDMI or VGA outputs to a connected monitor.

Designed for home security installations, small retail premises and light commercial sites, the DVR handles up to four wired cameras on coaxial cable runs. Remote viewing is available through the ESP HDview app for iOS and Android, or via the included CMS software for Windows PCs. Footage can be backed up to USB drives for evidence transfer or archive without requiring network access.

The 2TB capacity provides approximately 10-14 days of continuous recording from four cameras at 4MP resolution, depending on scene complexity and compression settings. The DVR includes RS485 control for PTZ cameras, allowing pan-tilt-zoom functions to be operated through the same interface. The unit operates silently without active cooling fans, and the mouse-driven interface handles configuration, playback and camera setup without needing a keyboard.
