Description

The AV:Link EC9W is a pair of in-ear stereo earphones with 10mm ferrite magnetic drivers, a 1.2m cable and a 3.5mm stereo jack plug. The drivers are rated across a 20Hz-20kHz frequency response at 16 Ohms impedance, delivering 98dB sensitivity for compatibility with standard smartphone, tablet and laptop headphone outputs without needing amplification.

Designed for everyday listening rather than studio monitoring, the EC9W suits commutes, gym sessions and general music playback from portable devices. The 1.2m cable length allows the source device to sit in a pocket or bag without tension on the earbuds when walking or sitting. The 3.5mm jack fits directly into devices with a headphone socket, or pairs with a USB-C or Lightning adapter for phones that have removed the analogue port.

The white housing uses a lightweight plastic shell that keeps the total weight to 42g including the cable, reducing fatigue during extended wear. Soft silicone earbuds come in multiple sizes in the box, allowing adjustment to different ear canal shapes for passive noise isolation and a secure fit. The 10mm driver diameter is typical for consumer in-ear earphones and provides adequate bass response for modern pop, hip-hop and electronic music without over-emphasising low frequencies.
