The Knightsbridge 9W T8 LED tube is a 603mm (2ft) glass tube producing 1080 lumens of 6000K daylight white light on 230V mains. The tube fits standard T8 fluorescent fittings as a direct replacement, using the same bi-pin socket at each end. An opal polycarbonate diffuser over the LED strip provides uniform light distribution across the 140-degree beam angle, eliminating the striping effect seen with some LED tubes.

Designed for utility areas, workshops, garages, commercial kitchens and office task lighting where cool-white visibility matters more than warmth, the 6000K colour temperature gives a clinical, alert quality to the light. Remove the fluorescent starter from the fitting, then bypass or remove the ballast and wire the tube directly to mains power through the existing T8 sockets. Is this tube dimmable?
