Description

The Knightsbridge 9-gang screwless grid faceplate is a 208mm x 148mm steel plate finished in matt white, designed to hold nine euro module inserts for customised socket and connection configurations. The faceplate accepts standard euro modules — USB chargers, HDMI outlets, coaxial TV points, RJ45 data sockets, telecom jacks — allowing installers to configure the exact mix of connections needed for a given location.

Suited to home offices, media walls, commercial reception desks and hotel rooms where multiple connection types need to be grouped in a single wall location, the 9-gang format reduces the number of separate faceplates needed on a feature wall or workstation. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate steel sub-frame fixed to the back box, so no screw heads are visible once installed. A gasket between the plate and the wall provides a tight fit that reduces light bleed and dust ingress around the edge.

The matt white finish is low-sheen and pairs cleanly with white or off-white walls in both residential and commercial interiors. The 10mm depth projection from the wall once fitted keeps the plate low-profile. Euro module inserts are sold separately, giving flexibility to build the exact configuration required — three HDMI, two USB-C, two RJ45, two blank plates, for example — and to update or replace individual modules without replacing the entire faceplate.

The faceplate accepts standard euro module inserts from Knightsbridge and compatible manufacturers, including USB sockets, HDMI outlets, RJ45 data points, coaxial TV sockets, blank plates and telecom jacks. Modules are sold separately and clip into the apertures on the sub-frame.

How is the screwless plate fixed?

The matt white cover plate clips onto a separate steel sub-frame that is screwed to the back box during installation. Once the sub-frame is fixed and the euro modules are clipped in, the cover plate snaps on top, hiding all fixings. The plate can be removed for decorating or module replacement without re-wiring.

What back box is needed?

A standard UK 35mm or 47mm back box is required depending on the depth of the euro modules being used. Some modules — particularly USB chargers and HDMI outlets with rear cable connections — may need the deeper 47mm box to avoid cable pinching.
