Description

The Knightsbridge 9-gang grid faceplate is a screwless cover plate designed to accept euro module inserts for TV, HDMI, data, USB, telephone and other low-voltage connections. The matt black finish is powder-coated onto premium-grade steel, giving a 208mm x 148mm aperture for nine standard grid modules arranged in a 3x3 configuration.

Designed for bespoke media wall installations, home cinema setups, boardrooms and home offices where multiple AV and data connections are needed at a single wall point. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal grid frame that mounts to the back box, meaning no visible fixings appear on the wall once the installation is complete. The built-in gasket between the cover plate and the grid frame creates a tight seal that reduces dust ingress and improves the visual finish.

The matt black powder coat provides a low-sheen surface that minimises fingerprints and reflections under room lighting, and pairs cleanly with modern interiors, media equipment and black AV cables. The 10mm projection from the wall keeps the profile low against plasterboard or masonry. The steel construction gives the faceplate rigidity needed to resist flex when modules are inserted or cables are plugged and unplugged repeatedly in high-use environments.

Knightsbridge euro modules (sold separately) clip directly into the grid frame behind the faceplate. Common configurations include twin HDMI for display and source inputs, twin RJ45 data sockets, dual USB-A or USB-C charging, coaxial TV aerial, satellite F-type, and RJ11 telephone. The modular system allows configurations to be changed without replacing the faceplate or back box.

The faceplate requires a Knightsbridge 9-gang grid mounting frame and a 35mm minimum back box depth. The grid frame is sold separately and fixes to the back box with screws, then the cover plate clips onto the frame.
