Description

This Knightsbridge 24V LED strip light delivers 590 lumens per metre at 6000K daylight colour temperature, sealed inside a silicone extrusion rated IP67 for full immersion protection. The 5-metre reel carries 64 surface-mount 2835 LEDs per metre and draws 4.8W per metre on 24V DC supply. The strip cuts every 125mm along marked sections, allowing custom lengths to be installed without wasting material.

Designed for both internal and external installations where waterproofing is needed, the IP67 rating allows the strip to be used in bathrooms, wet rooms, under kitchen worktops, garden decking lighting, architectural façade wash, and outdoor feature lighting. The 10mm width (12mm including end caps) fits into narrow aluminium profiles and recessed channels. The strip ships with 3M self-adhesive tape on the reverse, though separate mechanical fixings (FLEXFIX) are available where adhesive alone is insufficient.

The 6000K colour temperature produces a crisp daylight white that suits task lighting, worktop underlighting, and outdoor security applications where cooler tones are preferred over warm white. The strip requires a separate 24V constant voltage driver (sold separately) sized to match total wattage — a 5m reel draws 24W, so a 30W driver would allow headroom for safe operation. Dimming is possible when paired with a compatible driver and dimmer controller. The maximum continuous run is 20 metres before voltage drop becomes noticeable.

The silicone encapsulation protects the LEDs and circuit board from dust and water ingress while maintaining flexibility for bending around curves and corners during installation. IP end caps (LFCFIX10, sold separately) seal the cut ends after installation to maintain the IP67 rating. The L70B50 rating of 54,000 hours indicates the point at which 50% of LEDs will have degraded to 70% of their initial light output — approximately 6 years of continuous use.
