Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24IPDL3M is a 3m length of 24V DC LED strip light delivering 6000K daylight white output at 590 lumens per metre. The strip is IP67 rated, with LEDs and circuitry fully encased in a silicone extrusion that protects against water ingress and dust penetration, allowing installation in bathrooms, outdoor covered areas, and other wet or damp environments.

At 10mm wide (12mm including end caps) and 7mm thick, the strip fits into narrow channels, cove lighting profiles, under kitchen cabinets, and other concealed positions where traditional fittings cannot reach. The strip comes with 3M self-adhesive backing for direct fixing to clean, dry surfaces, or can be mounted in aluminium extrusion profiles using the separately-sold FLEXFIX fixing kit. The strip is cuttable every 125mm along marked cut-points, allowing precise length customisation on site.

Each metre of strip carries 64 x 2835 SMD LEDs drawing 4.8W, giving a total of 14.4W for the full 3m length. The strip requires a separate 24V constant-voltage driver (sold separately) and is dimmable when paired with compatible dimming drivers or controllers. Maximum continuous run length is 20m before voltage drop becomes significant. The strip is rated for 54,000 hours L70B50 lifespan and carries a 3-year warranty.

The 6000K colour temperature produces a crisp, cool-white output closer to daylight than warm LEDs, making it suitable for task lighting in workshops, garages, utility rooms, and outdoor security lighting where colour accuracy and visibility matter more than ambient warmth. The CRI rating of >80 provides reasonable colour rendering for general applications.

The strip requires a separate 24V constant-voltage driver. For this 3m length at 4.8W per metre, a driver rated at minimum 15W output is required, though a 20-30W driver provides headroom for voltage drop and future extension. Knightsbridge and other manufacturers offer compatible drivers sold separately at Niori.

Can the strip be cut to a shorter length?

Yes. The strip has marked cut-points every 125mm. Cut only at these marked points using sharp scissors or a craft knife. Cutting between marked points will damage the circuit and void the warranty.

Is IP67 suitable for permanent outdoor installation?

IP67 provides protection against water immersion up to 1m depth for 30 minutes, making it suitable for outdoor installations under eaves, in covered patios, or in bathrooms. However, the strip should not be permanently submerged in water or exposed to direct rainfall without additional UV-stable housing.

What colour temperature is 6000K?

6000K is a cool daylight white with a slight blue tint, similar to overcast daylight. It provides high contrast and visibility, making it useful for task lighting, workshops, and security applications. For warmer ambient lighting, Knightsbridge produces this strip in 3000K and 4000K variants.
