Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24IPCW is a 30m reel of 24V LED strip light encapsulated in IP67-rated silicone, delivering 4000K cool white light at 610 lumens per metre. The strip uses 64 surface-mount 2835 LEDs per metre, running at 4.8W per metre with a 120-degree beam angle and a colour rendering index above 80. The silicone encapsulation protects the LEDs and circuitry against dust and water ingress up to 1m depth, making the strip suitable for both interior and exterior installations.

Designed for cove lighting, under-cabinet runs, outdoor architectural accent lighting and zone lighting in commercial or hospitality settings, the strip can be run up to a maximum of 20m continuously from a single 24V constant voltage driver (sold separately). The strip is supplied on a 30m reel with 3M self-adhesive backing, allowing it to be fixed directly to clean, dry surfaces. Cuts can be made every 125mm along the strip where marked, giving flexibility to fit exact run lengths without waste.

The 10mm width (12mm with optional end caps) allows the strip to fit into narrow aluminium profiles and tight recesses where wider tape would not work. The cool white 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white and daylight, providing neutral task lighting that does not skew colour perception in kitchens, workshops, retail display or outdoor signage. The strip is dimmable when paired with an appropriate 24V dimmer module and driver combination.

The L70B50 rating of 54,000 hours indicates the point at which 50% of a sample will have degraded to 70% of initial output, giving an operational lifespan of approximately 6 years at continuous use or significantly longer in typical switched-use scenarios. Knightsbridge supplies optional fixing kits (FLEXFIXL) and IP-rated end caps (LFCFIX10) separately for professional installation finishing.

The strip requires a 24V DC constant voltage driver. For a full 30m reel at 4.8W per metre, you need a driver rated for at least 144W (30m x 4.8W). For shorter runs, calculate total wattage by multiplying run length in metres by 4.8W and add 20% headroom.

Can I use this strip outdoors?

Yes. The IP67 rating means the strip is protected against dust ingress and temporary immersion up to 1m depth. It can be used on exterior building facades, under eaves, in garden lighting and other outdoor applications where it may be exposed to rain.

Where can I cut the strip?

The strip can be cut every 125mm where marked with scissor symbols along its length. Cutting outside these marks will damage the circuit and void warranty on that section.

Is the strip dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable 24V driver and an appropriate dimmer control module. Dimming capability depends on the driver and control gear used, not the strip itself.
