Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24IPWW3M is a 3m reel of 24V LED strip light rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. The strip measures 10mm wide (12mm with end caps) and 7mm thick, with a silicone seal protecting the LEDs and circuitry from moisture ingress. Each metre carries 64 surface-mounted 2835 LEDs emitting 3000K warm white light at 560 lumens per metre.

Designed for under-cabinet lighting, cove lighting, exterior soffit runs, bathroom mirrors, outdoor decking edges and garden features, the IP67 rating allows the strip to be installed in damp or wet locations where IP20 tape would fail. The strip runs on 24V DC supplied by a constant-voltage driver (sold separately) and draws 4.8W per metre. The 3000K colour temperature gives a warm, incandescent-style tone suitable for residential and hospitality settings where cooler daylight LEDs would feel clinical.

The strip can be cut to length every 125mm at marked intervals, allowing precise fitting to irregular runs or shaped profiles. A 3M self-adhesive tape backing secures the strip to clean, dry surfaces, and additional mechanical fixing is available using the separate FLEXFIX kit. The strip is dimmable when paired with compatible 24V dimming drivers. Maximum continuous run length is 20m before brightness uniformity drops off, so runs longer than this need power injection at intervals or a new driver feed.

The silicone coating gives the strip a translucent white appearance when unlit and diffuses the point-source LEDs into a more continuous line of light when powered. CRI is rated above 80, providing reasonable colour rendering for general lighting (not sufficient for art lighting or retail display where CRI 90+ is preferred). L70B50 life rating is 54,000 hours, meaning the LEDs retain 70% of initial brightness after 54,000 hours of operation under normal conditions.

The strip requires a 24V DC constant-voltage LED driver. For the full 3m reel drawing 4.8W per metre, a 15W or 20W driver provides headroom. Knightsbridge stocks compatible drivers separately. Match the driver output to your total strip length.

Can this be used outdoors?

Yes. The IP67 rating provides protection against water immersion up to 1m depth for short periods and full dust sealing. Suitable for exterior soffits, decking edges, garden lighting and damp bathroom locations. The driver must also be IP-rated or housed in a dry enclosure.

Can I cut the strip to a custom length?

Yes. Cut points are marked every 125mm along the strip. Cutting between these points damages the circuit and renders that section unusable. After cutting, use IP end caps (LFCFIX10, sold separately) to reseal the cut ends and maintain IP67 rating.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the driver. Pair the strip with a dimmable 24V LED driver and appropriate dimming control (0-10V, DALI, PWM or phase-cut depending on driver type). The strip itself has no built-in dimming circuitry.
