Description
The Knightsbridge LFC24IPCCT5M is a 5-metre reel of 24V CCT LED strip light with an IP67 rating for full submersion protection, making it suitable for outdoor installation, bathrooms, and wet environments. The strip outputs 455 lumens per metre at 11W per metre, with adjustable colour temperature from warm white 2700K through to cool white 6000K via compatible CCT control gear.
Designed for concealed installation in IP67-rated aluminium profiles, under kitchen cabinets, in garden lighting schemes, or around architectural features where moisture protection is required, the strip runs on 24V DC from a separate constant voltage driver (sold separately). The 12mm width fits most standard LED strip profiles, and the 100mm cut section allows precise length adjustment on site. The strip ships with 3M self-adhesive backing on the reverse, though separate fixing clips (FLEXFIX) are available for installations where adhesive alone is insufficient.
The silicone coating over the 2016 SMD LEDs provides the IP67 rating — the strip can be submerged in water up to 1 metre for short periods without damage. The 120-degree beam angle gives wide, even coverage when mounted in profiles with diffusers. Maximum continuous run is 10 metres before voltage drop begins to affect brightness uniformity, so runs longer than 10m require power injection at both ends or mid-run. The CRI of >90 provides accurate colour rendering for task lighting and interior accent lighting where true-to-life colour perception matters.
The strip is dimmable and CCT-adjustable when paired with appropriate 24V drivers and controllers — the CCT function requires a dedicated CCT controller that drives the separate warm and cool white LED channels within the strip. Knightsbridge produces matching drivers, controllers, connectors, end caps (LFCFIX10) and aluminium profiles as part of the same system (all sold separately). The strip is also available in 1m, 3m and 30m reels for smaller projects or large commercial runs.

Frequently Asked
What driver and controller are needed for CCT adjustment?
The strip requires a 24V constant voltage driver sized to the total wattage of the run (11W per metre, so a 5m reel draws 55W). For CCT adjustment you also need a dedicated CCT controller that independently drives the warm and cool white LED channels. Knightsbridge produces matching drivers and controllers — see the related products section or contact us for a recommendation based on your installation.
Can this be installed outdoors?
Yes. The IP67 rating means the strip is protected against dust ingress and can withstand submersion in water up to 1 metre for short periods. It is suitable for outdoor garden lighting, wet room and bathroom installations, and under-eave accent lighting. The driver must also carry an appropriate IP rating if installed outdoors or in wet locations.
How is the strip cut to length?
The strip can be cut every 100mm at marked cut points along its length. Cutting elsewhere will damage the circuit. After cutting, the exposed copper pads at the cut end can be connected to a new power supply using solderless connectors or soldered leads, or terminated with IP67-rated end caps (LFCFIX10, sold separately).
What is the maximum run length?
The maximum continuous run is 10 metres. Longer runs experience voltage drop that reduces brightness at the far end of the strip. Runs over 10m require power injection at both ends or at mid-run to maintain even brightness across the full length.
