Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24IPCCT3M is a 3m CCT LED strip light running on 24V DC, rated IP67 for outdoor and wet-area installation. The strip carries 120 x 2016 SMD LEDs per metre on a 12mm-wide flexible PCB, encased in a clear silicone sleeve that seals against water ingress to IP67 standard. CCT (correlated colour temperature) means the strip can shift between warm white (2700K), neutral white (4000K) and cool white (6000K) when paired with a compatible CCT controller.

Designed for cove lighting, exterior garden features, patio lighting, and bathroom or wet-room accent lighting where IP20 strips would fail, the strip can be cut every 100mm to fit exact lengths and includes 3M self-adhesive backing for temporary fixing. Permanent outdoor installations require additional mounting clips (FLEXFIX, sold separately) and IP67-rated end caps (LFCFIX10, sold separately) to maintain the ingress protection rating. The strip consumes 11W per metre and delivers 455 lumens per metre across the CCT range, which is suitable for accent and ambient lighting rather than task lighting.

The 24V operating voltage allows runs of up to 10m from a single constant-voltage driver (sold separately) without noticeable voltage drop or colour shift along the length. The strip is dimmable when paired with a compatible 24V dimming driver or CCT controller. The CRI of >90 renders colours accurately under the light, making it suitable for hospitality, retail display and residential applications where colour fidelity matters. The Class III rating means the strip requires low-voltage wiring only and carries no mains voltage.

What driver does it need?

The strip requires a 24V constant-voltage LED driver. For a 3m strip at 11W per metre, a driver rated at 35W or higher is recommended to allow headroom. Knightsbridge produces compatible drivers and CCT controllers — contact us for recommendations based on your installation.

Can it be used outdoors?

Yes. The IP67 rating means the strip is protected against water ingress when fully immersed up to 1m depth for 30 minutes. Outdoor installations require IP67-rated end caps (LFCFIX10) on both ends and weatherproof cable connections. The strip itself can be mounted in garden lighting, patio features and exterior architectural cove lighting.

How is CCT controlled?

The strip requires a CCT controller connected between the driver and the strip. The controller allows you to adjust the colour temperature between warm white (2700K), neutral white (4000K) and cool white (6000K). Some controllers also provide dimming. Knightsbridge produces compatible CCT controllers sold separately.

Can it be cut to length?

Yes. The strip has cut marks every 100mm. Cutting at these marks maintains the circuit integrity and allows for end caps to be fitted. Do not cut between marks as this will damage the circuit. Once cut, the strip cannot be rejoined without soldering or using connectors.
