Description

The Knightsbridge 10A single circuit track is a 2m black aluminium and copper rail designed to power track-mounted spotlights and directional fittings. The track runs on 230V mains with a 10A circuit capacity, supporting up to 2,300W of combined load across all fittings mounted to the rail. It ships with both live and dead end accessories to allow installation as a single run or as part of a larger multi-track layout.

Used in kitchens, retail spaces, galleries and offices where directional accent or task lighting is needed without fixing individual ceiling roses for each spotlight, the track mounts directly to ceilings or suspended grids. The 35mm width and 17mm projection give a low-profile footprint that suits both high and standard-height ceilings. Track spotlights (sold separately) clip onto the rail at any position along the 2m length and can be repositioned without re-wiring.

The black powder-coated aluminium body hides the copper conductor inside, giving a clean finish that works with contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors. The IP20 rating limits the track to dry indoor use only. The track can be cut to shorter lengths on site if the full 2m run is not needed, or joined to additional 2m sections using connector accessories (sold separately) to create longer continuous runs.

Can the track be cut to a shorter length?

Yes. The aluminium body can be cut to shorter lengths on site using a hacksaw or metal-cutting tool. After cutting, the live or dead end accessory is fitted to the cut end to seal the conductor and allow safe installation.

What spotlights are compatible?

The track uses the standard single circuit track format, compatible with most track-mounted spotlights designed for UK 230V single circuit systems. Check that the spotlight specifies single circuit compatibility before purchase.

Can multiple tracks be joined together?

Yes. Knightsbridge produces connector accessories (sold separately) that join two track sections end-to-end, allowing longer continuous runs. The dead end accessory supplied with this track is removed and replaced with the connector piece where tracks meet.
