Description
The Belvix is a small dome pendant light built around a 180mm alabaster shade carved from natural Spanish stone, suspended below a white marble collar and a brushed brass connector. A single E27 lamp socket sits inside the dome, casting light through the stone so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser. The shade measures 230mm in height and hangs from a slim black flex, giving the pendant a clean vertical line.
The compact 180mm diameter suits positions where a larger pendant would feel heavy: above a kitchen island in a multi-pendant cluster of two or three units, over a bedside table as a hanging alternative to a bedside lamp, or in a stairwell, hallway or small dining nook. The flex length allows the drop to be adjusted on installation, so the pendant can be set 700-800mm above a worktop or 600-700mm above a bedside table depending on ceiling height.
Each alabaster dome carries its own veining pattern and tonal variation, so no two Belvix pendants light identically. The combination of soft white stone, white marble at the collar and brushed brass at the joint keeps the palette quiet, pairing with both warm timber-toned interiors and cooler painted schemes. The dome's underside is finished consistently with the outer curve, so the pendant reads as a single carved shape rather than a shade fixed to hardware.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Belvix take?
The pendant uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-9W and 2700K-3000K suits the alabaster best, as warmer colour temperatures bring out the natural cream tones and veining in the stone.
Can it be hung in clusters above a kitchen island?
Yes. The 180mm diameter and slim vertical profile make the Belvix well suited to multi-pendant arrangements. A cluster of two or three units spaced 400-600mm apart works above a standard kitchen island, with each pendant set 700-800mm above the worktop.
Does each pendant look the same?
No. The dome is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Wipe the dome with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble.
