Description
The Knightsbridge 24V RGB LED strip light is a 3-metre length of colour-changing LED tape rated IP67 for outdoor and wet-location installation. The strip contains 36 x 5050 SMD RGB LEDs per metre, giving 108 individual LEDs across the full 3m length, each capable of producing red, green, blue and mixed colours when paired with an RGB controller (sold separately).
Designed for outdoor garden lighting, architectural accent lighting, marine environments, bathrooms and any application where the strip may be exposed to water or dust, the IP67 rating provides full protection against dust ingress and temporary immersion up to 1m depth. The silicone housing seals the LEDs and the PCB inside a flexible 12.25mm-wide strip that can be bent around curves and corners without breaking the seal. The strip ships with 3M self-adhesive backing tape applied, allowing it to be pressed onto clean, dry surfaces without separate fixings, although the optional FLEXFIXL fixing kit provides mechanical mounting clips for permanent outdoor installations.
The 24V DC operation requires a separate constant-voltage LED driver rated for at least 27W (3m x 9W/m) and an RGB controller or remote-control unit to change colours and set lighting sequences. Maximum continuous run is 10 metres — longer installations require additional power injection points to prevent voltage drop. The strip can be cut to length every 166mm at marked cut points, allowing precise fitting to alcoves, shelves, staircases and pergolas. End caps (LFCFIX12, sold separately) seal the cut ends to maintain the IP67 rating after trimming.

Frequently Asked
What driver and controller are required?
The strip requires a 24V DC constant-voltage LED driver rated for at least 27W (3m x 9W/m consumption). It also requires an RGB controller or remote-control unit to change colours — neither is included. See the Knightsbridge driver and controller range at Niori for compatible components.
Can it be cut to a shorter length?
Yes. The strip has cut marks every 166mm where it can be trimmed with scissors. After cutting, IP end caps (LFCFIX12, sold separately) must be fitted to the cut ends to maintain the IP67 water resistance.
Is it suitable for permanent outdoor installation?
Yes. The IP67 rating protects against rain, dust and temporary immersion up to 1m depth. For permanent outdoor installations, use the optional FLEXFIXL fixing kit to mechanically secure the strip rather than relying solely on the adhesive backing, particularly in areas exposed to UV, temperature cycling or mechanical stress.
What is the maximum run length?
The maximum continuous run from a single power feed is 10 metres. Installations longer than 10m require additional power injection points to prevent voltage drop and colour shift towards the end of the strip.
