Description
This 24V high-output LED strip delivers 1250 lumens per metre from 120 x 2835 SMD LEDs spaced along a 5-metre flexible PCB strip. The 6500K colour temperature produces a crisp daylight white tone suited to task lighting, display cabinets, under-cabinet worktop lighting, and commercial retail applications where colour rendering and brightness matter. The strip draws 14W per metre at 24V DC, requiring a constant voltage driver rated for at least 70W to power the full 5m roll.
The strip arrives on a reel with 3M self-adhesive backing applied to the rear of the 8mm-wide PCB, allowing it to be stuck directly to clean, dry aluminium channel, cabinet interiors, or flat surfaces. It can be cut at 100mm intervals along marked cut points, enabling custom lengths without waste. The strip is dimmable when paired with a compatible 24V LED dimmer and driver combination, providing full control over light levels from 0-100%.
Rated IP20, the strip is designed for dry indoor environments only and should not be exposed to moisture, condensation or outdoor conditions. The 2mm projection means the strip sits almost flat against its mounting surface, making it suitable for recessed channel installations where minimal depth is available. Each LED sits behind a silicone coating that protects the chip and evens out the light distribution along the strip length.
The Class III rating confirms the strip operates on extra-low voltage (24V DC), meaning it requires a mains-to-24V transformer or driver but does not present a mains electric shock risk once installed. The 150mm cable tail at one end of the strip accepts standard low-voltage connectors or can be hard-wired to the driver output.

Frequently Asked
What driver is needed to power the full 5m strip?
The strip draws 14W per metre, so a full 5m roll requires a 24V constant voltage driver rated for at least 70W. Allow 10-20% headroom, so a 75-85W driver is recommended. The driver must be 24V DC output, not 12V.
Can the strip be cut to shorter lengths?
Yes. The strip has marked cut points every 100mm (10cm) along its length. Cut along these marks with sharp scissors or a craft knife to create custom lengths. Cutting between marked points will damage the circuit and stop that section working.
Is this strip dimmable?
Yes, when paired with a compatible 24V LED dimmer and driver combination. The dimmer must be placed between the driver output and the strip input. Standard mains trailing-edge dimmers will not work with 24V LED strip.
Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating means the strip is suitable for dry indoor environments only. For bathrooms, kitchens or outdoor use, you need an IP65 or IP67 rated strip with silicone or resin coating protecting the LEDs from moisture.
