Description

The Mercury F160mA is a 6 x 32mm quick blow fuse rated at 160mA on 250V circuits. Quick blow (also called fast-acting or F-rated) fuses respond within milliseconds to overcurrent, making them suitable for protecting sensitive low-current electronics, instrumentation circuits, and control systems where rapid disconnection prevents component damage.

Designed for applications where the normal operating current is well below the 160mA rating and where even brief overcurrent can damage components, this fuse opens the circuit faster than slow-blow or time-delay variants. The 6 x 32mm form factor is a standard IEC dimension that fits fuse holders commonly found in audio equipment, test instruments, industrial control panels, and small appliances. The glass tube body allows visual inspection of the internal wire element to confirm whether the fuse has blown.
