Description
The LYYT 180 LED static string light delivers 18m of lit length (19.5m total) with 180 multicolour LEDs in an RGBA configuration — red, green, blue and amber bulbs spaced at 100mm intervals on a black heavy-duty rubber cable. The LEDs emit steady, non-flashing light from concave heads that distribute colour evenly without hot spots. Rated at IP44, the string is resistant to rain and moisture, making it suitable for outdoor use throughout the year.
Designed for garden perimeter lighting, fence decoration, commercial frontages and event installations, the string runs on 220-240V mains and draws a maximum of 7W across the full 180 LEDs. Up to six sets can be daisy-chained from a single plug socket, allowing runs of up to 120m (1,080 LEDs) without additional outlets. The 1.5m mains lead on the first set provides flexibility in locating the nearest power source.
The UV-resistant rubber cable remains supple in cold weather and resists cracking under prolonged sunlight exposure, giving the string durability for permanent or semi-permanent installations. The RGBA colour mix produces a festive multi-tone effect suited to Christmas, New Year and celebratory events, while the static mode (no flashing or sequencing) provides a calmer aesthetic for year-round garden accent lighting or hospitality venue exteriors. The string weighs 1.3kg, light enough to be supported by garden wire, fence panels or masonry hooks without sagging.

Frequently Asked
Can these lights be used outdoors all year?
Yes. The IP44 rating means the LEDs and cable connections are protected against rain and moisture from any direction. The UV-resistant rubber cable is designed to withstand prolonged outdoor exposure without cracking or degrading in sunlight.
How many sets can be connected together?
Up to six sets can be connected end-to-end from a single mains plug, creating a total lit length of 108m (6 × 18m) with 1,080 LEDs. This allows large-scale installations without needing multiple power sources.
Do the lights flash or sequence?
No. These are static string lights with a steady, non-flashing output. The RGBA LEDs remain continuously lit in their respective colours once powered on.
What does RGBA mean?
RGBA stands for red, green, blue and amber. The 180 LEDs are divided between these four colours and distributed along the cable to create a multicolour effect when lit.
