Description

The LYYT 144 LED outdoor net light spreads 144 cool white LEDs across a 1.2m wide by 1.5m high mesh grid on black UV-resistant rubber cable. Each LED sits in a concave head that disperses light evenly across the net rather than creating individual point sources, giving uniform coverage when draped over hedges, fences, building facades or pergola frames.

Designed for outdoor festive and event installation, the net carries an IP44 rating protecting against rain and dust ingress. The 1.6m mains lead connects to standard 230V UK sockets, and up to 50 net lights can be daisy-chained from a single plug using the connectable ports on each unit. This allows coverage of up to 90m² from one power source, making the system practical for large garden walls, shopfront canopies and outdoor event backdrops without needing multiple extension cables.

The cool white 6000K colour temperature produces a crisp modern glow suited to contemporary schemes and winter-themed displays. The black cable blends into dark foliage, brickwork and timber frames during daylight, keeping the installation visually discreet when the lights are off. At 5.4W total power draw per net, 50 connected units consume 270W combined, making the system relatively low-cost to run over extended seasonal periods.

Frequently Asked

Can these be left outdoors year-round?

The IP44 rating protects against rain and dust, making the net suitable for outdoor installation during typical UK autumn and winter weather. However, prolonged UV exposure and extreme weather may degrade the cable over multiple years. Most users install seasonally and store indoors between uses to extend lifespan.

How many nets can be connected together?

Up to 50 net lights can be daisy-chained from a single plug. Each net draws 5.4W, so 50 units consume 270W total, well within the capacity of a standard UK 13A socket.

What's the difference between cool white and warm white?

Cool white runs at approximately 6000K, producing a crisp blue-tinted light similar to daylight. Warm white (available separately) runs at 2700-3000K with a yellow-amber tone closer to traditional incandescent bulbs. Cool white suits modern and winter-themed displays, while warm white pairs better with traditional festive schemes.

How is the net attached to a surface?

The net can be draped over structures and secured with cable ties, garden hooks, or small nails through the mesh intersections. The rubber cable is flexible enough to conform to uneven surfaces like hedges and lattice frames without pre-stretching.
