Description
This ESP 50W LED floodlight delivers 4000 lumens at 4000K through an integrated LED behind a textured polycarbonate diffuser, housed in a black die-cast aluminium body with IP65 ingress protection. The fitting measures 216mm high by 186mm wide (excluding bracket) and includes an adjustable mounting bracket that can be fixed to walls, ground stakes or eaves.
Designed for exterior security lighting, driveway illumination, garden feature lighting and commercial perimeter lighting, the floodlight suits applications where bright, neutral white light is needed across a wide area. The IP65 rating protects against water jets from any direction and dust ingress, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions in UK weather. The 1-metre power cord terminates at the rear of the bracket for connection to mains supply via a suitable junction box or switched spur.
The textured diffuser spreads the 4000-lumen output across a 120-degree beam angle, reducing glare and avoiding harsh shadows on building facades or pathways. The black powder-coated aluminium body absorbs heat from the LED array and minimises visual intrusion in darker exteriors. The adjustable bracket allows the light to be angled up, down or horizontally depending on the mounting position and target area. Fixing accessories are included in the box.
At 4000K colour temperature, the light output sits between warm white (3000K) and cool white (5000K-6500K), providing clear visibility without the clinical tone of higher temperatures. The integrated LED has a typical lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours under normal operating conditions, reducing the need for bulb replacement over the fitting's working life.

Frequently Asked
Does this floodlight include a PIR sensor?
No. This is a non-sensor version designed for permanent-on use via a wall switch or timer. ESP produces PIR sensor versions of this floodlight under separate SKUs if automatic activation is needed.
Can it be used in a bathroom or wet room?
The IP65 rating makes the fitting suitable for outdoor use and water exposure, but it is designed as an external floodlight rather than a bathroom fitting. For indoor wet areas, select fittings specifically rated for bathroom zones.
How wide is the beam angle?
The textured diffuser creates a 120-degree beam angle, spreading the 4000-lumen output across a wide area rather than a tight spot. This suits security lighting, driveways and garden areas where broad coverage is needed.
How is the bracket adjusted?
The bracket pivots on a toothed ratchet joint, allowing the floodlight head to be angled upwards, downwards or horizontally. Once the desired angle is set, the bracket tightens via a knurled locking nut visible on the right side of the mounting arm.
