Description

The ESP Nighthawk Plus is a 10W LED security floodlight with a built-in PIR motion sensor, delivering 800 lumens at 4000K through a textured diffuser panel. The integrated PIR covers a 110° detection angle up to 8m range and triggers a pre-set 150-second activation period when movement is detected. An auto lux control ensures the light only activates in low-light conditions, conserving energy during daylight hours.

Designed for outdoor installation on house walls, garage sides, garden sheds and outbuildings, the floodlight carries an IP65 ingress protection rating against dust and water jets, making it suitable for year-round exterior exposure in the UK climate. The adjustable mounting bracket allows the light to be angled to cover driveways, side passages, back doors and bin stores. A 1m power cord is supplied for connection to a weatherproof outdoor socket or junction box.

The black powder-coated aluminium housing measures 110mm high by 99mm wide by 27mm deep excluding the bracket, giving a compact footprint on the wall. The textured polycarbonate diffuser softens the LED output to reduce glare while maintaining sufficient spread for security and path lighting. A manual override function allows the light to be switched to constant-on mode when needed for outdoor tasks or gatherings. Fixing accessories are included in the box.

What triggers the PIR sensor?

The PIR detects movement within a 110° arc up to 8m from the fitting. When triggered in low-light conditions, the light stays on for a pre-set 150 seconds before switching off again. The auto lux control prevents activation during daylight.

Can the light be left on continuously?

Yes. The manual override function allows the floodlight to be switched to constant-on mode, bypassing the PIR sensor. This is useful for outdoor tasks, gatherings or when continuous security lighting is needed.

Is it waterproof?

The floodlight carries an IP65 rating, protecting it against dust ingress and water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for year-round outdoor installation on house walls, garages and outbuildings exposed to rain.

How is it mounted?

The adjustable bracket allows the floodlight to be wall-mounted and angled to cover the required area. A 1m power cord is supplied for connection to a weatherproof outdoor socket or junction box. Fixing accessories are included.
