Description

The Zoom is a 65mm diameter surface-mounted downlight with a cylindrical matt black aluminium body and a GU10 bulb fitting. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making the fitting suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, covered outdoor porches and any location where moisture or condensation is present.

Surface-mounted downlights fit directly onto the ceiling surface without requiring a recessed cut-out, making them compatible with solid concrete ceilings, metal deck ceilings and situations where depth above the ceiling is limited. The Zoom mounts on a circular backplate and the 105mm height projects the light source down from the ceiling plane, directing output onto the surface below. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to 50W (sold separately), allowing control over colour temperature and beam angle to suit the application.

The matt black finish on the aluminium body absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping the fitting itself visually recessive when lit. The internal reflector is finished in a warm metallic tone that softens the beam spread and reduces glare compared to a white or silver reflector. The cylindrical form and 65mm diameter suit installation in hallways, shower rooms, walk-in wardrobes and kitchen prep areas where a compact fitting is needed and multiple fittings are typically spaced at 1-1.5m centres.
