Description

The Zoom is a 60mm diameter recessed LED downlight with an integrated 6W LED module producing 3000K warm white light. The fitting is built from die-cast aluminium with a white powder-coated finish and carries an IP65 rating, making it fully protected against dust ingress and resistant to water jets from any direction.

Designed for bathrooms, kitchens, outdoor soffits and any zone requiring moisture protection, the Zoom fits a 60mm ceiling cutout with a 60mm overall depth above the ceiling line. The IP65 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 1 and 2, as well as covered outdoor areas where direct rainfall does not occur. The integrated LED delivers 90 CRI colour rendering, reproducing skin tones and material colours more accurately than typical 80 CRI commercial downlights.

The fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer (check dimmer compatibility with Maytoni or the dimmer manufacturer before installation). The white finish sits flush with the ceiling plane once installed, leaving only the central 30mm aperture and frosted diffuser visible from below. The aluminium construction dissipates heat through the black heatsink fins mounted on the top of the housing, maintaining LED longevity even in enclosed ceiling voids.

The Zoom is supplied with spring clips for tool-free installation into plasterboard ceilings with 60mm ceiling depth clearance. A separate driver is required and is typically mounted in the ceiling void or loft space during installation.

Yes. The IP65 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 1 and 2, which includes areas directly above a bath or shower enclosure. The fitting is fully protected against moisture and steam. What ceiling depth is needed?
