Description

The Zephyrus is a 22cm diameter round LED flush ceiling and wall light with a white painted steel body and an integrated 19W LED emitting 3000K warm white light. The plastic diffuser panel sits flush with the steel rim, creating an even circle of light without visible bulbs or fittings behind it. The fitting can be mounted directly to a ceiling or wall surface with the LED driver concealed behind the back plate.

Designed for hallways, landings, bathrooms (IP20 rating limits it to zones outside splash areas), bedrooms and small living spaces where ceiling height is limited or a low-profile fitting is preferred, the Zephyrus provides general ambient light across a 3-4m room. The 3000K colour temperature produces a neutral warm white that works in both residential and commercial settings without skewing too yellow or too clinical. The 225mm diameter makes it compact enough for narrow corridors but substantial enough to light a small bedroom or cloakroom as a single fitting.

The white painted steel body weighs approximately 0.8kg and fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose or wall back box via screw holes concealed behind the fitting. The LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable, rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use under typical domestic conditions. Can this be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating means it is not splash-proof and must be installed outside bathroom zones 1 and 2 (at least 600mm away from a bath or shower). It is suitable for a bathroom ceiling if the room is large enough to meet zone spacing requirements.

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, equivalent to around 10-15 years under typical domestic use patterns.
