Description

The Zephyrus is a 40cm round LED ceiling and wall light with an integrated 36W LED running at 4000K colour temperature, housed behind a white plastic diffuser set into a painted steel frame. The fitting mounts flush to either ceilings or walls, sitting approximately 50mm proud of the mounting surface once installed.

Designed for kitchens, utility rooms, bathrooms (IP20 rated for zones outside splash areas), hallways and home offices where neutral white task lighting is needed, the 4000K output sits between warm household whites and cooler commercial daylight tones. The 400mm diameter provides enough spread to cover a 3-4m² area as primary overhead lighting or to wash a wall section when mounted vertically. The steel body and plastic diffuser distribute light evenly without visible hotspots or edge fall-off.

The white finish pairs with both painted ceilings and tiled walls without introducing colour contrast, keeping the fitting visually recessive while the light itself does the work. The round profile softens angular room corners and ceiling-wall junctions compared to square or rectangular flush fittings. The integrated LED is rated for 30,000 hours typical lifespan at 36W continuous use, removing the need for bulb replacement over the fitting's working life.

Installation requires a standard ceiling rose or wall back box with mains connection. The fitting weighs approximately 1.2kg and fixes with screws through the steel backplate into the mounting surface. The non-dimmable driver runs on 230V mains without requiring external control gear.
