Description

The Zeal is a 110mm recessed outdoor downlight built from die-cast aluminium with an integrated 15W LED module running at 3000K. The circular bezel sits flush with plasterboard ceilings and carries an IP54 rating on the front face, providing dust and water splash resistance for covered outdoor locations such as patios, verandas, and external walkways.

Designed for fixed installation in exterior soffits with ceiling access from above, the Zeal recesses into a circular cut-out and locks via spring clips behind the plasterboard. The black bezel finish blends into dark soffits and contrasts cleanly against white or light-coloured ceilings. The fixed beam angle delivers downward accent light rather than wide-area flood, making it suitable for highlighting pathways, doorways, and seating zones rather than broad general lighting.

The die-cast aluminium housing dissipates heat from the LED without requiring active cooling, and the IP54 rating on the front lens protects the internal components from rain splash and airborne dust in sheltered positions. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for a 3000K warm-white output, matching the colour temperature of halogen equivalents. The 15W draw is approximately equivalent to a 100W halogen downlight output while consuming less energy and generating less heat.
