Description

The Wisp is an 8-light chandelier built around a central turned column and eight curved arms, all finished in matt black metal. Each arm holds a tapered black fabric shade over an E14 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately), and teardrop-shaped metal ornaments hang beneath each arm, echoing the turned shapes in the central column. The overall diameter is 920mm and the drop from ceiling rose to lowest ornament is 740mm.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Wisp provides ambient light spread across eight individual sources rather than concentrated in one point. The fabric shades diffuse the light and prevent glare when the chandelier hangs at eye level in a two-storey hallway or above a dining table. The chain includes a fabric guard that conceals the cable run from ceiling rose to canopy.

The matt black finish on the metalwork absorbs rather than reflects light, giving the chandelier a low-glare presence under daylight and allowing the lit fabric shades to become the focal points once the bulbs are switched on. The eight-arm configuration distributes 920mm of width evenly, so the chandelier suits rectangular dining tables of 1.8-2.4m length or circular tables up to 1.5m diameter without overwhelming the table footprint.
