Description

The Wexford is a 523mm outdoor pedestal light with a lantern body built from five separate glass panels hand-leaded together in a diamond-pattern frame, topped with a domed metal cap and decorative finial. The metalwork carries a black and silver dual-tone finish, combining a black base coat with silver highlighting on raised edges and mouldings. The lantern sits on a tapered pedestal base with a square footprint for mounting on brick pillars, gate posts or low garden walls.

Designed for driveways, front garden pathways and courtyard entrances, the Wexford suits traditional and period properties where a classic leaded-glass lantern complements existing architectural details. The IP44 rating protects the internals against rain spray and solid objects above 1mm, making the light suitable for exposed locations including coastal areas with salt-laden air. The E27 lampholder accepts bulbs up to 60W, allowing use of warm-white LED filament bulbs that mimic traditional gas-lamp appearance or standard LED bulbs for brighter path illumination.

The hand-leaded glass construction means each panel is held in place by lead came rather than silicone or clips, giving the lantern a heavier, more substantial feel than mass-produced alternatives.
