Description

The Voltis Square Frame is an 80mm white polycarbonate recessed trim frame designed to house adjustable inserts, reflectors and trim rings within the Ideal Lux Voltis modular recessed lighting system. The frame provides the visible ceiling aperture and structural support for interchangeable light modules, allowing the direction, beam angle and trim style to be changed without replacing the entire fitting.

Designed for residential and commercial installations where recessed lighting needs to be repositioned or reconfigured over time, the Voltis frame suits kitchens, bathrooms, offices and hallways with standard plasterboard ceilings. The 80mm aperture fits smaller ceiling zones and creates focused downlighting or wall-washing effects depending on the insert module fitted. The white finish sits flush with light-coloured ceilings and the square geometry gives a contemporary alternative to circular recessed fittings.

The frame measures 80mm square with an 86mm projection behind the ceiling plane, requiring a minimum void depth of approximately 90-100mm for safe installation. The polycarbonate construction resists warping under heat from LED modules and provides UV stability so the white finish does not yellow over time. The Voltis system's modular design allows multiple frames to be grouped in linear or geometric patterns, with double and triple frame assemblies available separately for larger installations.
